Armando Ambrosio is the resident partner of the Moscow office, as well as Head of the Russia and CIS Desk.

Prior to joining the Firm, he worked for international law firms in London, New York and Luxembourg.

Armando provides legal advice and assistance to companies in the field of corporate and commercial law, international contracts, mergers & acquisitions, as well as innovation law. He is also very active in international mediation and ADR.

Armando is specialised in cross-border transactions with particular focus on Russia and CIS countries.

Armando also assists start ups and innovative SMEs, incubators and accelerators with regard to legal aspects of innovation and technology transfer.

Lecturer and expert consultant in blockchain technology for ITA (Italian Trade Association), he offers support services to companies interested in the development of projects for internationalization and adoption of advanced technologies.

Armando is the author of numerous articles and interviews both in national and international magazines and newspapers.

Frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on topics relative to Russia and the CIS countries, as well as to blockchain, smart contracts and digital assets.

Armando is a member of the Pro-Bono Committee of the International Trade Center in Geneva, responsible for drafting standards of international model contracts for SMEs.

Armando is recognized by the international legal directory Chambers Global as a leading professional in cross-border transactions in the corporate and M&A sector with particular reference to Italy, Russia and Ukraine (2011-2019).

Armando is qualified as a mediator for civil and commercial disputes in Belgium, as well as international mediator accredited with leading mediation centers in Italy and Russia.

Assisted an Italian manufacturer of clothing, listed on the Milan stock-exchange, in setting up a joint venture project with a Russian partner for the distribution of its products in the territory of Russia.
