Andrea Sonino joined De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani in 2015 and became partner in 2021.
He previously worked at Studio Legale Avv. Marco Paggi in Padua, a law firm highly specialized in employment law, industrial relations and immigration law.
Andrea’s practice is mainly focused on consultancy and assistance to domestic and foreign multinational companies on Employment Law, Immigration Law and Arbitration.
On the employment law side, he daily advises companies on any aspect of employment law both on a managerial and transactional as well as litigation level. Andrea is frequently involved in major reorganisation processes of the Italian workforce of domestic and foreign companies and frequently renders consultancy activity within M&A operations.
With reference to immigration law, Andrea deals with all “Corporate Immigration” issues, such as: hiring of highly-specialised foreign personnel; international secondment or transfer of employees to/from Italy; expatriates’ management; inter-company mobility of employees and directors. He also provides advice and assistance to foreign individuals willing to reside, invest or start a new business in Italy. Andrea also deals with any issue related to the Italian citizenship and to the acquisition or acknowledgement of the citizenship status.
Since his arrival at De Berti Jacchia and within the arbitration area, he has been involved in several arbitration proceedings, mainly under the rules of the ICC and the Milan Chamber of Arbitration.

He deals with corporate mobility issues, pensions, industrial relations, corporate and commercial law related matters, employment litigation and mediation, corporate restructurings, individual and collective dismissals, individual employment and self-employment contracts, employment compliance, collective agreements, general labour counseling, health & safety at work.
Clients assisted by Andrea are active, amongst others, in the following industries: Fashion and Luxury, IT and TMT, Automotive, Construction, Chemicals, Industrial products and equipment, Medical Devices, Tourism, Maritime Industry and Metalworking Industry.
Andrea is an active member of ASGI (Association for Juridical Studies on Immigration) and is very committed in all the pro bono projects of the firm.
