Giuseppe Cristiano joined the firm in July 1998 and became partner in January 2003. Whilst an associate, he had a nine months spell with a City firm.

Ever since joining the firm, Giuseppe worked in the Corporate and M&A area where he gained a significant experience in all types of acquisitions, including leveraged acquisitions, acquisition finance and distressed acquisitions, acting on the side of the buyer, the seller or the finance parties as the case may be.

Furthermore, as an heritage of his experience in the UK, Giuseppe devotes an important part of his time to banking and financial services matters.

Giuseppe’s practice finds its own niche in assisting foreign banks and investors attempting to secure their lending towards an Italian company. In connection therewith, Giuseppe drafts and negotiates all necessary security documents.

His clients are foreign banks, foreign investors, but also Italian companies and groups of companies; including asset management companies and retail operators.

Giuseppe was the Italian National Representative of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers) – and then became member of the Membership Forum thereat. He has been and is speaker to numerous events and has released interviews and wrote articles published by the legal and financial press.

Giuseppe has been presented with a special mention by AIJA when completing his service and is often mentioned in International directories.
