Chiara Caliandro has been collaborating with the Firm since 2008. She joined immediately after earning her law degree at Bocconi University in Milan. In 2011 she was seconded to an Italian branch within the IKEA group .

Chiara primarily handles litigation, both ordinary and arbitration-based, in civil and commercial matters. She has frequently been appointed also as sole arbitrator and co-arbitrator in various national arbitral proceedings. Her main area of expertise involves international commercial contracts (particularly agency, distribution, franchising, service and supply agreements). She also drafts, reviews and negotiates such contracts, managing the pre-litigation phase to prevent disputes, with a particular focus on clients active in the fashion and luxury sectors.

Since September 2023, Chiara has been appointed as Co-President of the Litigation Commission of AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers), after having held the position of National Representative for Italy since August 2017 and of Vice-President from 2020. She frequently speaks at AIJA seminars. She is also member of AGAM (Associazione Giovani Avvocati Milanesi) and an active member of the BAC (Bocconi Alumni Community).

In 2015, she was recognized as one of the top 5 professionals under the age of 35 who participated in the annual Arbitration Course at the CAM (Milan Chamber of Arbitration).

In 2016, together with her colleague Francesco De Berti, she received the Past Presidents Award for the best National Report during the 54^th AIJA Annual Congress, on the topic of mediation.

In 2019, Chiara was awarded as Best National Representative of AIJA for 2018/2019.
