Gennaro Paone, associate, joined De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani in 2016.
Gennaro’s practice mainly focuses on domestic and international commercial Arbitration, Litigation and Employment Law.
Within the Arbitration area, Gennaro assists clients in domestic and international arbitral proceedings, including ad-hoc arbitrations and institutional arbitrations mainly conducted under the rules of arbitration of the ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) and the Milan Chamber of Commerce, as well as in in several arbitration-related court proceedings, including proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Italy. Gennaro also served as secretary in ad-hoc arbitrations.
On Employment Law side, he is involved in the assistance of companies on any aspect of employment law, both on a transactional as well as litigation level.
Furthermore, he assists clients in civil and commercial Litigations.
In 2021 Gennaro acted as seconded legal counsel in a company, part of a major Italian insurance group, active in the field of insurance distribution.
Gennaro was research assistant in Private International Law and Law of International Arbitration at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, from 2016 to 2017, and is currently coach of the Luigi Bocconi University team for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
