Giuseppina Zoccali, senior associate, joined De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani in 2005.

Previously, after completing an LLM in International Business Law at the London School of Economics, she worked at Ughi e Nunziante and Mondini Rusconi.

Giuseppina has been practising for more than 20  years in the area of corporate and extraordinary transactions as well as commercial law.

She has developed significant expertise in corporate governance and group reorganisations, including assisting leading international groups in complex corporate merger, demerger and contribution transactions involving different jurisdictions.

She assists clients in complex acquisition transactions, as well as in negotiating and drafting cooperation agreements and joint venture agreements.

Giuseppina is a point of reference for leading international groups, to which she provides support from the phase of choosing the most suitable corporate form for the Italian Newco and its incorporation, through the definition of the relevant corporate governance structure to the (full) operation of the corporate functions.

Giuseppina has also developed over the years excellent skills in commercial matters with special regard to distribution contracts, co-operations, and commercial contracts in general.

She has developed an in-depth knowledge of the industry sectors of the clients she has been assisting for many years, including in particular automotive, industrial components and logistics.

She collaborated with a major master’s degree programme for business lawyers, with specific reference to the corporate law section. 

Giuseppina co-operates from many years, with Assosvezia (the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Italy) as member of internal working group.
