Milan, September 15th 2022 – De Berti Jacchia, with Giuseppina Zoccali supported by the Partners Marco Frazzica and (for regulatory aspects) Antonella Terranova, assisted the Titagarh Group in the transaction with which the Ministry of Economic Development through the Fund Salvaguardia Imprese managed by Invitalia intervenes with an investment in support of the relaunch plan of Titagarh Firema S.p.A., an Italian company of the Titagarh Group and historic company of Caserta, specialized in the design, construction and repair of railway material.
The transaction involved an overall investment of over 14.5 million euros, with a share of 10 million euros (30.3% of the capital) by the fund dedicated to the protection of businesses and workers managed by Invitalia on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development, and a share of 4.5 million euros by the private investor Hawk Eye (13.6% of the capital), a company in the Arab Emirates.
The transaction was also supported by the Titagarh Group and previous shareholders, with an additional investment.
The share capital of Titagarh Firema S.p.A. post intervention will increase up to 33 million euros.
